The single room at Hostel Schutzenbach Backpackers was cozy and comfortable, with a shared bathroom that had a hot shower and hairdryer. As a young traveler, I really appreciated the homely feel of the room.
Personally, I found the shared bathroom for the single room slightly inconvenient. However, I understand that some guests may not mind this arrangement and still enjoy their stay at the hostel.

The location was epic, surrounded by jaw-dropping mountains and waterfalls. We couldn't believe the view from our room, it was like waking up in a dream. The staff was super chill and friendly, always making sure we were having a great time. Plus, they gave us awesome tips on the best hiking trails and local bars to hit up. We couldn't have asked for a better adventure!
If there's one thing we'd ask for, it's a livelier atmosphere for young party animals like us. Don't get us wrong, the hostel was cozy and comfortable, but we were hoping for more late-night parties and social activities.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of the hostel. The decorations reminded me of my youth, with vintage posters and colorful furniture. It made me feel right at home. The common areas were spacious and comfortable, perfect for socializing or just relaxing with a good book. As a senior woman, I also appreciated how accessible the hostel was. The staff was always ready to lend a helping hand and made sure that I had everything I needed during my stay.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the children working there. While they were friendly and polite, there were times when I could have used a bit more help carrying my bags or navigating the stairs.

The views surrounding this place were absolutely breathtaking! We couldn't get enough of the beautiful scenery around us. Plus, the staff were friendly and always ready to assist us with any inquiries we had. Another advantage was the convenient bus stop right in front of the property, which made it easy for us to explore different areas without having to walk too much.
The shower situation was quite a disappointment. We had to pay 50 cents for just a 4-minute shower, which was a bit annoying.

The location was mind-blowing, with jaw-dropping views of the mountains. We hiked like crazy to the famous Staubbach Falls, and let me tell you, it was worth every drop of sweat! Plus, the staff were so chill and gave us the lowdown on all the best adrenaline-pumping activities in the area. We had a blast and made memories for life!
One thing we wished for was a more happening social scene at the hostel. Don't get me wrong, the location and staff were awesome, but as young party animals, we were hoping for more opportunities to kick it with fellow travelers and have a wild night out.
